Christmas tree hunting trip
We went up to Idaho to cut down our Christmas tree last Sunday. We did this last year and had soo much fun that we are making it a tradition every year.
Aiden hiked with Nick to the top of the mountain to find the perfect tree. Aiden was the one that picked it out.
We found a skull of a Moose with 3 point antlers. That we brought home with us to put up at our property. (for decoration I guess :)
Nikaylee loved being up in the mountains. She looked like the kid from the Christmas Story in her snow suit. She couldn't even move! So Cute.
Aiden's New Cat
So, I took the kids to the Humane Society to pick out a kitten about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
When we arrived there were SO many kittens and cats to look at and pick from. There were little babies that were soo playful and fluffy.
But, Aiden already had his eye on this one that was just laying in the cage...sleeping. He would not leave her side or look at any of the others.
He just sat there and was petting her through the cage.
I told him that we should get this cute fluffy playful kitten and he just started bawling.... (a heart broken cry) and he said "mom we have to get this one I love this one" I said "Why do you like this one so much? she is just laying there sleeping?" and he said while he was crying "Because, this one is Special mom!, We can't leave it here..."
So, of course I gave in and we adopted the kitten that Aiden thought was so special. When we were in the process of adopting her they told me that she had a cold but, that it wasn't a big deal and they gave me some antibiotics for her. So, we left.
I took her in for another vet check and apparently she is really sick. They gave her more antibiotics. Maybe this is why he thought she was so special and we had to have her because the Humane Society can't afford the correct antibiotics for sick animals.

Aidens First Day of Kindergarten
Aiden Started Kindergarten on July 28th.. His teacher is Mrs Oaks.
He has 27 kids in his class! LOTS OF FRIENDS
He has 27 kids in his class! LOTS OF FRIENDS
He is actually doing allot better than I thought he would. He brings home a colored card everyday.
Green Card = He was good that day.
Yellow Card = He only had to put his head on his desk 1 time.
Red Card = He had to put his head on his desk more than 2 times and still wouldn't listen.
The first week was rough because his best friend Cody is in his class and he isn't the best influence on him so, he has been acting up and bringing home Yellow Cards everyday.
Monday was the first day he brought home a Green Card. When I got off work I went to Judy's house to pick up the kids and Aiden must have seen me drive down the street because he came running out her front door a little bit too fast... His body was going faster than his feet and he did a front flip down the stairs! Landed on his shoulder and scraped his knee.
I jumped out of the car to be sure he was okay and he was crying "I got a Green Ticket today! " He was so excited to tell me that he totally biffed it! :)
July 2007 Flaming Gorge Trip
Aiden's first time water skiing! They actually got up... for about 2-3 minutes. Aiden said he had lots of fun but, he never wants to do it again.
Nick and Aiden went out fishing first thing in the morning and brought back these big daddy's !
Nick isn't a fish eater so, we brought one Salmon fillet to my dad and one to his grandma. They were good.

Aiden's first T-Ball Game
Have you ever been to a T-Ball game with 3-4 year olds? Oh man you have got to see this!
This was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. Aiden has a game every Tuesday and Thursday night the rest of June and July.
One team takes turns hitting the ball and running the bases letting each player hit atleast once. The team in the outfield takes turn letting two players run after the ball and throw it to the bases. Once all the players have a chance to hit the ball they switch sides so the outfielders come in and get to hit. They don't keep score, it is just for fun and teaching the kids the basics of the game.
These kids are hilarious. The helmets they wear when they are up to bat are too big on their little heads that they come down over their eyes so, they look like they are swinging for a pinada. After they hit the ball they are supposed to run to first base but, you have kids running to third base, not running at all, running before they hit the ball etc. There are kids in the outfield that will just sit down out there and play in the dirt, when they throw the ball they are throwing it with the hand that their mitt is on... etc.
There was this tiny mexican kid that was playing on the other team that was really good. I think his dad was one of the coaches but, he was fun to watch too because he actually knew what he was doing. He would run after every ball and chase down the other kids to tag them and get them out.

Our Property
Here are a few pictures of us up at our property we bought a little over 2 years ago. Nick has done alot to it since we bought it. He has laid 3 truck loads of gravel, Dug a huge fire pit, built a shed that we camped in until this year we bought a fifth wheel. Then, a couple of weeks ago we had a huge carport built over the fifthwheel to protect it in the winter and provides lots of shade.
We have 10 acres of land between Strawberry and Starvation reservior... This is where we have been spending most of our weekends. OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!! We love being able to get away from the city and relaxing under the stars.

Aiden's new Four Wheeler.
We took it up to our property which is near Strawberry Reservoir a couple weekends ago... Aiden was soo excited to try out the fourwheeler he couldn't stand it. So, Nick and I walked with him to showed him a trail to follow to our other peice of property and where to turn around and come back... he followed this trail around and back for atleast 2 hrs straight.
I was outside on the camping chair watching him and holding Nikaylee... Nikaylee started to get fussy so, I took her into the Fifth Wheel to make her a bottle. All of a sudden I heard the Aiden on the Fourwheeler coming closer, and a big bang!
I looked outside, Aiden was hauling butt and ran right over my camping chair and ran crashed into Nick's Truck!!!
He doing soo good! I don't understand. :(

Aiden was so scared and crying and just kept on saying "I wasn't watchin where I was going mom" OBVIOUSLY!
Nicks Truck is okay but, he broke his headlight in his fourwheeler.
